The French authorities today started to separate refugees from German citizens held in concentration centers. The refugees are permitted to communicate with friends by letter and are also permitted to receive parcels. Ladged in newly cleaned and painted stables formerly occupied by thoroughbred horses, and guarded by a battalion of French Colonials who are also quartered in the stables, the refugees are being well treated. Today they named a committee to call on the camp commander, asking his permission to compliment the cook on his excellent soup.
