Chancellor Hitler’s program for solution of the minorities question in Europe brought forth sarcastic comment today during a roundtable discussion by two Senators and a Congressman over an NBC network following the Reichstag speech.

Representative Peter Jarman of Alabama, declaring he was “impressed” with Hitler’s “great modesty and with his references to minority treatment, war mongers, and so forth,” said: “Now, about the treatment of minorities, how can we feel toward such references on his part when we think of his horrible treatment of the poor Jewish people.”
