Polish Leader Thanks Rumanian Jews for Aid to Refugees

The former Police Chief of Lodz, Poland, who has found refuge in a Jewish home here, has issued a statement expressing deep gratitude for the assistance rendered by the Rumanian Jewish population to Polish refugees. He said that on his return to a liberated Poland he would do everything possible to improve relations between Jews and Poles.
