The Imam of the Shah Jehan Mosque at Woking, Surrey, spiritual head of the Moslems in England, has issued a statement defining the Moslem’s attitude towards the war in which he said:

“Until and unless religious liberty is restored no Moslem should think he has done his duty. The Zionist policy in Palestine has done great harm and brought untold miseries upon the brethren in the faith. But the very fact that synagogues are pulled down in Germany makes it obligatory for us to throw every ounce of our energy into the cause of the Allies.”
