A meeting of the British Zionist Federation’s executive council today adopted a resolution denouncing the restrictions on land purchase in Palestine. The resolution said that “the policy announced by the Colonial Secretary, if persisted in, will render further tenure of the mandate by the British Government unjustifiable both morally and in international law.”

The Ministry of Information’s foreign press review, under the headline “Palestine: Land Regulations Favorably Received,” reported today that “the Arab press accorded a favorable reception to the new land transfer regulations.” The review quoted three Palestine Arab newspapers.
