The Polish Government-in-exile has invited Arthur Siegelbaum, leader of the Bund (Polish Jewish Socialist party), who has succeeded in escaping from the German-occupied territory, to join the Polish National Council at Angers. He will be the second Jewish member of the council. It is believed he will join the Polish Socialists rather than Dr. Ignacy Schwarzbard, the other Jewish member of the council.
