Arrest of French anti-Semitic leaders as potential “fifth columnists” was demanded today by French newspaper, which pointed to England’s example in seizing Sir Oswald Mosley, leader of the British Union of Fascists.

“We too have our Mosleys,” L’Oeuvre declared, “and their Trojan Horse is anti-Semitism,”

Paris-Soir charged that the anti-Semites were preparing the ground for the “fifth column” by publishing “anti-Semitic publications inspired by the Stuermer” and by distributing pamphlets “containing translations of slogans by (Alfred) Rosenberg and (Joseph) Goebbels.”
