The Order Sons of Zion, at the closing session of its 31st annual convention, voted yesterday to raise funds to send an ambulance and emergency supplies to the Red Shield (Jewish Red Cross) in Palestine. The convention also decided to raise $15,000 to create a forest in Palestine in honor of Dr. Harris J. Levine, New York, retiring grandmaster.
Referring to differences within the Zionist Organization of America, the delegates adopted a resolution urging Zionists to “restore and maintain unity in solving the extraordinary situation confronting us.” New officers elected are Harry Grayer, Brooklyn lawyer, grandmaster; Harry Pine, Newark, and Abraham Radelheim, New York, vicegrandmasters.
