The Associated Press reported from Bucharest today that the Iron Guard had reached agreement with Julius Maniu, Peasant Party leader, on a five-point program, including division of the Jewish population into categories so that restrictions could be introduced “without disrupting Rumania’s economic life.” The agreement opened the way to the possibility that the present cabinet would be replaced by a completely Iron Guard regime, it was said.
