Local anti-Jewish measures were reported today to have been adopted in a number of Slovakian towns and villages.

The measures include bans on Jews in cafes and public parks. The municipality of Zipser-Neudorf has forbidden Jews to attend the weekly market before ten o’clock in the morning on the grounds that they bought up farmers’ produce at low prices and later resold it at higher rates.
