Engineers have discovered the prosaic cause of the “miracle of the Wailing Wall” which yesterday created a sensation among worshippers.
The worshippers were startled when a stream of water suddenly spouted from between the venerable stones. They immediately proclaimed it “holy water of good omen” and rushes to gather it up. Engineers traced the water to a well inside the Haram area.
