Thirty “anti-alien” bills have been introduced in Congress during its first month of the present session, it was disclosed in a study made public today by Prof. Walter Rautenstrauch, of Columbia University, co-chairman of the Fifth National Conference of the American Committee for Protection of Foreign Born, which is to be held in Atlantic City on March 29 and 30.
The study shows that ten measures pending in Congress would exclude non-citizens from securing employment in specific fields. Twelve of the thirty bills pending are deportation measures.
