None of the approximately fifty thousand Jews of Syria suffered during the Anglo-French hostilities, it was established here today when contact between Palestine and Syria was reestablished.

Jewish and non-Jewish refugees from Poland who were given temporary refuge in Cyprus will soon proceed to Rhodesia, it was stated here today. The group which consists of several hundred people, includes a number of Jewish journalists.
