All Moroccan Jews living in the European quarters in Morocco since September 1939 will be ordered to move back into their old dwellings in the Arab quarters, it was announced here today.
The measure which amounts to forcing Jews into a ghetto has been demanded by the French resident General Nogues, the announcement said. It is a part of the plan to extend the French anti-Jewish laws to the African colonies.
