A plenary session of the Vaad Leumi, the Jewish National Council of Palestine, met today to discuss the various problems facing Palestine at the present time, and also the participation of Jews in the war effort.
The session decided to arrange for a large mass meeting with a view toward stimulating further Jewish enlistment in the British forces. The Council will also start a campaign soon to raise funds for the relief of Polish Jewish refugees now in Russia.
