The forty-third edition of the American Jewish year book was issued here today by the Jewish Publication Society of America.

Edited by Harry Schneiderman, Assistant Secretary of the American Jewish Committee, the Year Book in addition to the usual compilation of statistics covering Jewish activities, directory of Jewish organizations and short biographical sketches of leading Jews who have died during the year, also contains a 300-page comprehensive review of the Jewish events of the past year. The review is divided into two parts – one covering the immediate situation of United States Jewry, the other dealing with the plight of Jewry abroad.
