The HIAS Council of Organizations, affiliated and cooperating with the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society of America, held its annual conference here today. Delegates representing over 1500 organizations and welfare agencies in the Metropolitan area heard Lt. Governor Poletti and City Council President Newbold Morris.
