The death penalty will be enforced against any persons in Serbia who are found to be hiding Jews or financing or assisting them, it is reported in the Serbian newspaper, Novo Vreme, reaching here today.
All property being taken care of for Jews must be reported to the German military authorities in Belgrade before January 15, the paper writes. Any agreement or contract entered into with Jews since April 6 must also be reported. Failure to observe these regulations will be punished by death.
