Dr. Nelson Glueck, scholar and archaeologist, has been named executive director of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, a post which he will assume July 1. He will continue as Professor of Bible and Biblical Archaeology at the Hebrew Union College, the rabbinical seminary of reform Jewry at Cincinnati, and will serve as a member of the faculty of the Institute of Advanced Study at Princeton until June.
