The famous Whittingehame Farm School, established in 1939 on the estate of the late Lord Balfour to train refugee children for agricultural work in Palestine, has been closed, it was announced today.

The announcement states that 110 of the children, who have already received training, will be settled on farms in Britain, while a smaller training center will be established for 40 children who still remain at Whittingehame.
