The Soviet Government, in a cable from Kuibyshev, today informed Chief Rabbi Isaac Herzog that it is prepared to grant exist visas to rabbis, religious leaders and theological students who are interested in proceeding from Soviet Russia to Palestine.

The Chief Rabbi was asked in the cable to prepare lists of those persons whom the Palestine rabbinate would like to bring to Palestine, so that there will be no delay in their departure from Russia.

The Jewish Agency today announced that Jewish refugees from Poland now in Russia have so far not received any of the food-and-clothing parcels sent to them by relatives in Palestine. The Agency advised Palestinians to stop sending parcels to Polish Jews in Russia for the time being until the matter can be cleared with the Palestine Government.
