Rabbi Samuel Cass Appointed Chief Jewish Chaplain in Canadian Army

Rabbi Samuel Cass of Vancouver, B.C. has been appointed to the Canadian Chaplain Service with the rank of Honorary Captain, it was announced today by the Principal Chaplain’s Office at National Defense Headquarters. Capt. Cass has been posted in Montreal from where he will direct the work of Jewish part-time Chaplains throughout Canada, and minister to Jewish personnel in the Canadian Army.
