The Hungarian parliament was assured yesterday that “there has been no foreign interference with regard to the recent modifications of the anti-Jewish laws” and that the expropriation of Jewish property will continue ruthlessly.

The assurance was given by the Hungarian Premier, von Kallay, replying to a number of questions concerning the “Jewish problem” in Hungary. In addition to the continued confiscation of Jewish farm land, the enforcement of other anti-Jewish laws is being carried out to the best interests of the country, the members of the parliament were told.
