South American Governments Asked to Admit Jewish Children from France

An announcement made public here today by the Hias-Ica Emigration Association discloses that Sir Herbert Emerson, the League of Nation’s High Commissioner for Refugees, has addressed an urgent plea to all South American Governments, urging them to follow the example of the United States and admit refugee children from unoccupied France whose parents have been deported to Nazi-hold territory.
