Dr. Stephen S. Wise, president of the American Jewish Congress, left for Mexico today for a ten-day series of conferences with the officials of the Mexican government and representatives of the Jewish community. He will be received by the President of Mexico and the Secretary of State, among others.
Dr. Wise will be joined in Mexico on Friday by Nahum Goldmann, chairman of the administrative committee of the World Jewish Congress. Among the matters to be discussed by Dr. Wise and Dr. Goldmann with Mexican officials and Jewish representatives is the holding of an Inter-American Jewish Conference in Mexico City in the early Spring.
