The Synagogue Council of America has for a number of years scrutinized Jewish religious school textbooks for statements that might create prejudices against other faiths, it is revealed in the report of its Committee on Textbooks, published in the current issue of the Contemporary Jewish Record. The report shows that Jewish religious school textbooks have been remarkably free from interfaith prejudice.
