The Nazi radio stations today broadcast a report from Sofia quoting the Bulgarian Minister of Interior Grabovsky as announcing that the deportation of all 25,000 Jews in the Bulgarian capital is continuing and “Will be completed, as planned, on the appointed date.”
Grabovsky reiterated a statement which he made last week that “every Jew in Bulgaria is still allowed to leave the country and can emigrate to any place except Palestine and Turkey.” After the deportation of the Jews from Sofia is completed, the deportation of baptized Jews will start, he added.
