Mexican Jewry has contributed 100,000 pesos (approximately $20,000) to the Jewish National Fund for the establishment of a colony in Palestine to be called “Nachlath Yehudey Mexico,” it was announced today. a check for that sum was given to Mendel Fisher, executive director of the American J.N.F. before he left here to return home.

As a result of Mr. Fisher’s conferences with local Jewish leaders and with Nathan Bistritsky, special representative of the J.N.F. from Palestine, it was decided to call a Pan-American J.N.F. conference in one of the Latin-American countries.
