The Anti-Defamation League of the B’nai B’rith today issued a report disclosing that a number of synagogues in the Washington Heights section of the city have been desecrated during the last few months and that many individual Jews have been attacked in the streets.
The report is based on affidavits collected by the League. Police authorities have been asked by the League to give greater protection to Jews in the area where the anti-Semitic gangs, made up of minors, are operating.
