Carusi and Ennis Mentioned for Immigration Post Vacated by Harrison

Among those mentioned here as possible successors to Earl G. Harrison, who resigned yesterday as Commissioner of Immigration and Naturalization, were Hugo Carusi, executive assistant to Attorney General Biddle and Edwin Ennis, director of the Enemy Control Unit of the Department of Justice.

Mr. Harrison, who has held the post for the past two years, was responsible for reorganization of the service following its transfer from the Labor Department to the Department of Justice. It is understood that he plans to return to the private practice of law.
