Portuguese Red Cross Thanks Hias-ica for Cooperation in Refugee Aid Work

Appreciation for the Hias-Ica Emigration Association’s close cooperation with the International Red Cross in carrying on refugee aid work and helping in the immigration of refugees who were stranded in Portugal following the collapse of France, have been expressed by Major Luiz de Albuquerque Bettencourt, secretary general of the Portuguese Red Cross, in a communication addressed to Dr. James Bernstein, director of the Hias-Ida headquarters in Lision, it was announced here today.
