The Brussels radio today reported that partisans this week attacked a Budapest-Vienna train and liberated 660 Jews who were being deported to Germany.

The Hungarian cabinet has issued a decree requiring that the proceeds from confiscated Jewish property be placed in a Sequestered account in the name of the former owner. The order, which is quoted in the government newspaper Fueggetlenseg, does not indicate what eventual disposition will be made of the funds.
