War Refugee Board Evidence Used in Trial of Maidanek Executioners; Five to Be Hanged

The report of the American War Refugee Board, in which the murder of Jews at the Oswiecim and Birkenau death camps in Poland was described, was read into the court record during the trial of five officials of the Maidanek camp, which concluded in Lublin yesterday when the executioners were sentenced to hang, it was announced by the Moscow radio. The Nazis will be hanged publicly, the broadcast said.
