French Government Considers Decree Providing Assistance for Children of Deportees

A decree which provides for governmental care of all children of persons deported by the German, regardless of their nationality is under consideration by the government, it was learned here today. Details of the measure have not been disclosed.

The first conference of the French section of the Jewish Socialist Bund opened here last night. Emanual Szerer, a Bund Leader in pre-war Poland, and M. Bracke, a veteran leader of the French Socialist Party, addressed the gathering.

Grand Rabbi Zalman Schneerson announced today the reopening of the Paris Yeshive under the auspicas of the United Lubavitcher Yeshiveth of America.
