Lublin Court Sentences Gestapo Official to Death for Killing Jews in Radom

Hans Ritter, a German resident of the city of Radom, in Poland, was sentenced to death today by a special court in Lublin on the charge of actively participating in the mass-killing of Jews during the Nazi “liquidation” of the Radom ghetto. Ritter served with the Gestapo from the beginning of the occupation and joined in the hunting down of Jews and their deportation to “unknown destinations.”
