Early resumption of service by Palestine Airways, which operated throughout the Middle East before the war, was predicted here today by officials of the company, which is Jewish-owned.
The airline was taken over by the Air Ministry in 1937, but it is understood that it will shortly be returned to private ownership. Negotiations for acquisition of modern aircraft are now being conducted here, the officials said.
