Twelve adults and eighty-eight children were apprehended by border police as they tried to enter Palestine from Syria, according to an official communique. The adults were sentenced to one month’s imprisonment and the children sent back to Damaseus.
The Madrid radio today announced that 50 Jews from Palestine had arrive in Barcelona on the steamer Plus Ultra en route to the United States. They will board the S.S. Magallanes at Bilboa for the voyage to America.
