Ribbentrop Urged Killing of All Jews in Poland, German General Testifies

The killing of all Jews in Poland was urged by forner Nazi Foreign Minieter von Ribbentrop soon after the German invasion of that country, it was revealed here today at the trial of the top leaders of the Nazi regime.

The disclosure was made by Maj. Gen. Exwin Lahousen, who was one of the ranking officers of German military intelligence. Appearing as a surprise witness, he testified that at a meeting in Hitler’s private train on Sept. 12, 1939, Ribbentrop sugpested to Hitler and to leading German generals that “all Jews be killed and all Polish farms be burned to the ground” as the invasion into Poland developed.
