Jewish legal authorities here today expressed grave fears that the sweeping emergency regulations issued this week by the Palestine Government are not only designed to curb terrorists, but are aimed at the eventual disbandment of the Haganah, the Jewish Agency, the Jewish National Council, and the deportation of Jewish leaders. Jewish institutions have named a joint committee of legal experts to study the new decrees.

A police bulletin announced tonight that a combined military and police patrol, which today searched a Jewish operated bus near the settlement of Ayelet Hashachar, in the vicinity of Safad, discovered two packages containing ten pistols, 60 tommy-guns, and other arms. The driver and nine passengers were arrested.
