Henry Morgenthau, Sr., father of the former Secretary of the Treasury, and one-time U.S. Ambassador to Turkey, who played a prominent part in the Wilson administration, spoke last night on a radio broadcast marking his 90th birthday. He called for support of the United Nations and expressed the hope that it would be able to achieve a more lasting peace than the League of Nations which he had helped organize.
