The American Council for Judaism, through its president, Lessing J. Rosenwald, in a statement today, said that consideration of the loan to Great Britain is being complicated by the “extraneous Palestinian issue” and urged members of the Congress to consider it “solely on its merits, the fundamental American interests that are involved–and on no other basis.” The statement was sent to Congressional leaders and was made public by Mr. Rosenwald.
