The 49th annual convention of the Zionist Organization of America will convene on October 25 in Atlantic City, N.J., according to an announcement by Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, president of the organization. The convention will precede by about one month the opening of the World Zionist Congress, scheduled to be held in Switzerland in the latter part of November.
It was also announced that the membership of the ZOA now exceeds 190,000, the largest total in the history of the organization. This figure does not include the memberships of Hadassah and affiliated organizations of the ZOA.
