Hungarian Jews Will Name Majority of Members of Jewish Rehabilitation Fund

The Jewish Rehabilitation Fund which was established last week by Parliament to aid Jews who suffered under the former pro Nazi regime will be administered by a board of trustees named jointly by the Premier, the Central Board of Hungarian Jewry and the Central Bureau of Orthodox Jewry, it was learned here today. One-third of the members will be named by each, with the Premier also appointing the chairman and vice-chairman.

According to a high official of the Jewish community, the members to be appointed by the Premier will be persons who have been converted from the Jewish faith. The conies for the Fund will be derived from the sale of property left by heirless Jews.
