Although the mass emigration of Jews from Poland has not ceased, a stabilization of the Jewish position in the Silesian part of the country is definitely noticeable, William Bein, representative of the Joint Distribution Committee in Poland, reported today upon his return from a visit to Jewish communities in Silesia.

During his visit, Mr. Bein attended a conference of representatives of forty Jewish communities in Silesia at which various problems dealing with reconstruction of Jewish life were discussed.
