Two members of a delegation of the South African Jewish Appeal, which arrived in Europe to escort 400 Jewish orphans to homes in Johannesburg and Capetown, today told a Jewish Telegraphic Agency correspondent that they are encountering difficulty in finding 400 orphans who have not already been placed on other emigration lists.
The two South African Jews, Harry Cohen and Julius Schochet, are here to arrange the transportation of the group through Austria. The children from Poland who will be included in the group have already been selected.
