Hebrew Union College Opens Branch in New York to Train Religious Teachers

The Hebrew Union College of Cincinnati has opened an annex for training personnel for Reform Jewish congregations in New York, the organization announced during the week-end.

The school will offer three types of courses: short in-service training courses for teachers presently employed in religious schools; a three-year teacher training course for the preparation of new instructors; and a youth training course to prepare leaders for synagogue youth groups.
