An explosion shook the oil dock area of Haifa today. One British police sergeant was reported injured slightly.
According to first reports, three cans containing explosives were thrown at a heavily guarded Iraq Petroleum Company enclosure by three men. Two of the home-made bombs were snagged in the barbed wire fence, but one dropped over the wire. The policeman was hurt attempting to dismantle it. The attackers escaped.
