Egyptian Jewish Group Backs Nation’s Demand to U.N. for Evacuation of British Troops

In connection with Premier Nokrashi Pasha’s departure for the U.S. to present the Egyptian case before the U.N. Security Council, the Jewish Democratic Front today cabled U.N. Secretary-General Trygve Lie expressing the hope that the Security Council will support Egyptian demands for independence, evacuation of British troops and unity of the Nile Valley (which would include the Sudan).
