New Jersey State Police have organized special patrols in the vicinity of the Yeshiva of Nitra, here, after a number of incidents in the last few months during which 55 refugee students were subjected to anti-Semitic ridicule by local youths.

On one occasion the beard of the dean of the school, Rabbi Solomon Unger, was pulled by a boy, and at other times firecrackers have been exploded during religious services. Four teen-age boys recently apprehended after one incident have been warned by police. The school authorities refused to press charges.
