There is little likelihood that Transjordan will be admitted to membership in the United Nations this year, American sources at Lake Success indicated today. They pointed out that since the United States desires to block the admission of nations friendly to the Soviet Union, there is almost no possibility of a “deal” whereby the U.S.S.R. would withdraw its objections to Transjordan in return for the admission of Albania, Outer Mongolia, Bulgaria, Rumania and Hungary.
